Dear Arran and Harris - my favourite two children of all the planets!

I hope you're both okay. I miss you tremendously. Without you around - or even knowing how you are, what you're up to, etc etc - I feel incomplete. I've had to somehow convince myself you're both happy and well, which although helps to some extent, certainly doesn't patch up an ever-growing hole I've felt since I last saw you back in 2020.

Without wishing to delve too deeply into what caused mum and I to go our separate ways, it would suffice to say we simply couldn't continue being together, and, rather disastrously, mum's response to me calling off our relationship was to relocate and ultimately sever all contact - all without even so much as a hint of justification, or any consideration whatsoever to your best interests. She knows all too well that not seeing you would all but ruin me inside, and she's not wrong.

Need I say, I'm certainly not the type mum and others doubtlessly make me out to be - although I suspect you know that already, and as such, anything anyone may have said is taken with a pinch of salt - and quite rightly so!
